How we review feedback
We review messages concerning website functionality, content accuracy, calculator behaviour, future topics and relevant business proposals. Messages that contain a clear page reference and enough supporting detail are easier to investigate. We may not be able to respond individually to every submission, but confirmed issues can be used to improve the affected page or tool.
Reports concerning articles and calculators are checked against the published explanation, formula or calculation logic, unit handling, entered values and any relevant manufacturer or reference information used for the page. When an issue is confirmed, we may correct the example, clarify the wording, update the assumptions or adjust the calculator logic.
What we cannot assess remotely
- We cannot confirm that electrical, gas, demolition or structural work is safe without an appropriate inspection.
- We do not prepare individual technical reports on wiring, load-bearing structures, building condition or equipment installations.
- We do not replace advice from a contractor, electrician, engineer, designer, legal professional or other qualified specialist.
- We do not ask users to send passwords, payment card details, full identity documents or photographs containing unnecessary personal information.
- We cannot select final equipment or approve a project solely from a short description, photograph or calculator result.
Advertising and partnerships
HomDera displays advertising to support hosting, website maintenance, calculator development and the preparation of new content. Advertising does not determine our calculation methods, safety warnings or editorial conclusions.
A business proposal should include the sender's name, organisation, website, proposed format, commercial relationship and the reason it may be relevant to HomDera readers. Unrelated bulk outreach, undisclosed paid links and requests to publish misleading claims are not considered.
